Cheri Snedden from Crown Point, Indiana has become the newest Indiana State Champion. In the end she went heads up with Joe Orlich for the victory. Both players have qualified for the Poker Pro National Championship in Las Vegas in December. By coming out on top Cheri has won the package which includes an airfare allowance and hotel stay. We have just received another scratch card winner, Matt Wolff from Spicer, MN was able to scratch off four deuce's to secure his seat in the National Championship. Matt was able to accomplish this in just six attempts not having to use all seven. Matt is an avid poker leaguer and plays at many locations around the state of Minnesota.
On Saturday October 1st Kathy Westman (kwest1962) from North Platte, NE was the latest winner to qualify for the Poker Pro National Championship on December 4th. Along with her seat in the National Championship she won airfare allowance and a hotel stay at Harrah's Casino in Las Vegas. Ironically Kathy went heads up against Jeff Henne (idahored) who also hails from North Platte, NE for the win. For his second place effort Jeff won himself an I-Pod Shuffle. There is still one more online chance to qualify for the Poker Pro National Championship on November 1st, make sure to be using up your gamecards.
Kim Soley from the Roadhouse Inn in Newportsville, PA was drawn for the perfect attendance for the month of August. Kim has won herself a buy-in of a $120 to her local casino. We look forward to hearing if she can win a bunch of cash on her freeroll, good luck Kim!
Todd Dean from Marion, IL took down the 127 person FPN Online Tournament Thursday night Sept 1st. Todd plays at Kip & Traci's Colonial Club and has qualified for the summer regional playoffs coming up. He was the overall points leader in July and has also qualified for the Tournament of Champions. For his big win Todd becomes the 10th FPN Poker Pro National Qualifier. Todd won an airfare allowance and hotel accommodations on the strip at the beginning of Decemember.
