Cory Retzlaff wins League Championship and $10,000 Cash

Cory Retzlaff from Fargo, ND took down the League Champ Championship to kick off FPN's King Slayer National Series in Las Vegas. For his victory, he earned the prestigious National League Champ designation, League Champ Bracelet, and $10,000 cash. Cory qualified out of Prairie Brothers Brewery in Fargo, ND where he earned League Champ status playing Thursday nights in the Spring Session. Retzlaff also won the bar's Tournament of Champions, which gave him a double stack for the national event.

Josh Dahlstrom From West Fargo,ND does it again!

Josh Dahlstrom continues to run hot following his FPN Nat’l Championship win this past summer in Vegas where he earned a $10,000 World Series of Poker Main Event seat. Over the weekend Josh took down the North Dakota Championship Tourney in Bismarck for a $20,000 cash win, crushing a field of 700 players. Not a bad way to start the decade! We look forward to seeing Josh in attendance at the upcoming FPN King Slayer National Championship in Las Vegas coming up January 10-12th. You can play against Josh locally at the West Fargo VFW on Monday Nights 7pm.

North Dakota State Championship

Saturday October 19, 2019 at the Valley City Eagles Club, in North Dakota, 146 players qualified for their chance to slay the king in the Main Event at Nationals!!! 20 players secured their trophy’s and a ticket into the main event at Nationals in Las Vegas January 10-12. Top 4 players received travel cash. 10 alternates also have an invite to Vegas where they can play any of the last chance tournaments, the tag team event, also if one or any of the 20 who qualified do not come to Vegas an alternate will take their place in the Main Event!

Congratulations to Doug Morin, who also earned a trophy and his seat in the main event in the second chance qualifier.

John Christensen found a 9th place finish, guaranteeing him a seat into the Main event. John was your points leader for Casselton Vets club all 3 of the Spring months, he took first place 12 of the 24 weeks! he has played 34 tournaments with the league and made 25 final tables! Lets see if he can keep his final table streak alive.

Josh Dahlstrom is no stranger to FPN playing over 600 tournaments, you van find him playing Bar 9, Bison Turf, Gastro Pub, Mills Lounge, Woodys, and the West fargo VFW. Josh has been playing with the league for over 10 years!

Paul Johnson claiming first place and a seat into the DPT Eagle eye event, where he took 3rd place and $1860 cash! He is also in the top 10 for the DPT Leader board! Cant wait to see what Vegas has in store for him!
