Don Whitley from New York is one of the few handful of people who has secured his spot in the Vegas or Bust National Championship in end of June, beginning of July. At the Poker Pro National Championship we had a $65 buy-in tournament with an overlay of a seat into the next National Championship for first place. Don was able to win the tournament which also came with an $826 payday.
FPN Poker Pro Champion Brandon Dosch from the Bowler in 
Fargo, ND immediately proved his status as National Champ by nearly winning the Five Diamond Classic Event #13 ($1,080 buy-in), the first of several events Brandon will play in 2012 thanks to winning the FPN Poker Pro package. Brandon navigated the field of 246 to eventually finish 4th for over $16,000! Along the way he played against Barry Greenstein and other famous and successful poker players from all over the world. After the event, Brandon said he was "tired" but was excited about the playing more in 2012. Thanks for representing the league so well Brandon and good luck!

Congratulations to Brandon Dosch of Fargo (plays at The Bowler) for winning the grand prize at the FPN Poker Pro National Final today. Brandon outlasted a tough field of 75 qualifiers from around the country. For his accomplishment, Brandon has earned several buy-ins in 2012 and the first challenge is playing tomorrow's $1,000 buy-in event at the Bellagio in the Five Diamond Classic. Congratulations to all players who have qualified for the poker league National Championship this weekend (Sat, Dec 3rd). Just qualifying for this EXCLUSIVE tournament is a great accomplishment! The tournament will be held at The Mirage poker room at noon (PST). The qualifier list has 98 names representing 20 different states! Larry Sundberg from the Sebeka Liquor Store in Sebeka, MN was drawn in the perfect attendance drawing for the month of October. Larry played in Sebeka each and every week of October and now it has paid off for him. Just by showing up Larry has won a tournament buy-in to a local charity tournament this weekend a $160 value which could net him $5,000 if he ends up winning this Sunday.
