Dale Hjelmgren Wins Wisconsin Again!
Former champion Dale Hjelmgren
(pictured right) from the Outer Limits in New Richmond has done it again in his home state. Dale was able to take down Wisconsin State Championship becoming the reigning champ once again. Two years ago in the Party at the Palms National Championship Dale was able to cash for a cool $1500 and now looks for some more action at the Poker Pro National Championship. By becoming the champ he wins the airfare allowance and hotel stay as well. Respectively in second place was Martin Cue from Pitchers Pub in Madison and Bette Peterson from the JJ's Outpost in third place. Both Martin and Bette secured their spot at the Poker Pro National Championship.

New Yorkers met for the FPN Poker Pro state championship and after it was all said and done the big winners were Ajay Bhavani from Murphy's Bar, Earl Hollenbeck from Jack's Family Restaurant, Don Whitley from Darby O'Gills, and Mike Gibowicz from McGillicuddy's. That brings the total NY contingent to 6 players who have qualified for the exclusive national final. Good luck!
Every bar in the league invited all regular season tournament winners to a special "Tournament of Champions" tournament recently and those individual champs all recently competed for the NATIONAL Tournament of Champions final on FPN Online. When it was all said and done, Mike Marek (pictured) from East Grand Forks, MN came out victorious and earned air/hotel package to Las Vegas to compete in the FPN Poker Pro national final. Mike has competed in several World Series of Poker events in the past and has a long history of success playing poker. He will certainly be one of the favorites to take the top prize in the FPN Poker Pro final where the "league pro" will be crowned on December 3rd at The Mirage.
