John Murphy has become the fifth scratch card winner. John plays out of Murphy's bar in Mineola, NY. He scratched off a straight flush 2 of diamonds through the 6 of diamonds to win. Not only is he qualified for the National Championship in December by hitting the straight flush he also won $200 in cash.
Nicole Drake from Brandon, SD who also happens to be the owner of Valley Lanes has been a long time supporter of the league. She play poker every week with all her patrons in a great fun league and it's now won her the July perfect attendance drawing. She sat down with all the players every Wednesday night and pointed two of those four weeks. The July perfect attednance drawing was for a seat into the National Championship this December. Now Nicole can go for the elusive double stack at Nationals as she squeaked out a regional appearance in July as well by five points.
Phillip Motell aka "PhilMo78" of Horsehead, NY was newest winner of the Free Poker Network. Phillip competed in the monthly FPN Online tournament on the first of every month and took it down to win his way to Las Vegas. Phillip wins a hotel stay and a check for airfare allowance in December. When contacted Phillip said he is, "Super Thrilled" to win and looks forward to going to Las Vegas! Recently Jeff Miller from the MVP Lounge won the Sin City Showdown National Championship and on July 24th the MVP Lounge hosted the Eastern Nebraska Regional. If you have attended your regional you know there have been scratch cards that have been given out. The MVP Lounge must be one lucky place right now as Michael Carnes from Wayne, NE scratched his way to Las Vegas at the Regional. Michael got quad 4's in seven attempts to become the fourth scratch off winner!
