Tag-Team Freeroll Event Highlights North Dakota Final
159 Dakota Poker League players will be making their way to the Westside Bar and Grill tomorrow to compete in the Free Poker Network’s North Dakota Championship. These qualifiers will be vying for a chance to win one of six grand prizes that include an airfare and hotel package to sunny Las Vegas for a chance to play in the exclusive 25-player National Championship, where FPN will give away more than $12,000 in buy-ins, including a $5,000 WSOP Circuit Main Event Seat. Those who bust early can join spectators to compete in a fun “Tag Team Re-buy” $200 Freeroll Event. Players will join together in a tag-team format with an interesting twist: Each team will get a “re-buy” card! When a team loses its chips, it will receive a starting chip stack. This should make for a very entertaining event!




On Sunday, November 8th, 86 players took their shot at becoming the last Desert Heat winner to head to the fabulous Red Rock Casino in sunny Las Vegas in January. The tournament was held on our FPN Online poker software and the entry was one silver token. In order to earn a silver, players needed to win a 10 player bronze token sng online. Players can earn the bronze tokens by winning a live league night or by winning various online tourneys.
In Mahnomen, MN this past weekend the Heartland Poker Tour made a stop at Shooting Star Casino. Nine of the 30 players that made it into the cash were players who have played or are currently playing in the Free Poker Network! Poker players from all around the state of North Dakota gathered at the Bismarck VFW this past Saturday for their shot at becoming the final big winners in the Desert Heat promotion. In the end, Brent Hauge, Vance Barta, John Kihne, Kerry Wentz, and Mark Masseth were crowned champs. There will be ONE more trip awarded online as a LAST CHANCE bonus.
The largest region in the Free Poker Network, the Minnesota Poker League, held its championship event at Running Aces Card Club just outside the Twin Cities over the weekend. Out of the 199 who attended, 10 players were former champs, having previously won a grand prize package through the league.
