Congratulations goes out to Alvin Allen who plays out of the Log Cabin Inn in Campbell, NY. Alvin scratched off a pair of 3's and 7's and sent his card into the league office. He was then drawn for this months winner to get himself qualified for Nationals for the Casino Royale promotion. Congrats Alvin.
We are only two days away from possibly crowning a new NATIONAL CHAMPION! The reason why we can't say we will be crowning a new National Champion is becuase Steve O'Connor (IL) will be in the field. In FPN history we have never had a two time National Champion, however Steve will have the opportunity to not only become the first person to win it twice, but also do it back to back.
Everyone that is coming to Vegas has been invited to our suite on the 18th floor on Thursday night for some free cocktails to unwind before we get after it the next day. You just never know who might show up to that party.
Trena Kolstad from Jumping Jacks in Isanti, MN became the first person qualified for the Casino Royale National Championship in Oct/Nov. Trena simply showed up all four weeks in April to get qualified and was randomly drawn. Congrats Trena!
With all the state championships there have been a lot of new winners and we have even more to announce and report on. The April 2 pair or better drawing winner was Mike Sprouls out of Wayne, NE. Mike turned in a pair of 6's & 4's to get entered. Allen Wagner from Coleraine, MN just sent us a 4 of a kind scratch poker ticket having scratched off 4 aces! Both Allen and Mike are qualified for Nationals on May 29th. Cliff Matthews who plays out of Suhmers Saloon in Eagle Bend, WI was the March perfect attendance winner. Cliff won 100 scratch cards to try his luck at qualifying for Nationals along with Allen and Mike.
Janet Borth from Bovey, MN was the lucky winner recently for the March 2 pair or better drawing. Janet turned in trip aces to get herself qualified for the drawing. By having her card pulled she has now qualified for the Vegas Vacation National Championship on Friday, May 29th in Las Vegas. Congrats Janet.
