Rick Sathre Gets Lucky Not Once, but Twice
We recently drew for the two pair or better drawing for March. The card that was pulled out had a pair of kings and five's. We turned the card over to find out that the person that scratched if off failed to put any info on the back of the card. It was completely blank. So we drew a second one out and the lucky winner was Rick Sathre from Tower, MN. Rick was the beneficiary of having someone turn in a blank card and then getting his card drawn. Congrats Rick you are heading to Las Vegas for the National Championship!

It's been a while since we have had anyone turn in a four of a kind and then all of a sudden boom we have three within a week. Congratulations to Matthew Penkava from Oswego, NY who turned in four 5's, John Bloomquist from Wahpeton, ND two turned in four 9's, and Kyle Skinner (pictured) from Delaware who just scratched off scratched off four 3's on Wednesday night league. All three are now qualified for the National Championship this summer. Way to go guys!
Jimmy Miles from Brothers Bar & Grill in Rochester, Minnesota emerged as the big winner following a great championship weekend of poker action at the Golden Nugget in Las Vegas. The payoff was a poker player's dream: Airfare for two to Las Vegas, Limo pickup, $2,000 spending cash, $1,000 hotel suite allowance, dinner and show tickets, and $5,000 worth of tournament buy ins!
We are only three short days away from possibly crowning a new NATIONAL CHAMPION! The reason why we can't say we will be crowning a new National Champion is becuase Joel Smith (MN) will be playing in his 6th National Championship. In FPN history we have never had a two time National Champion, however Joel will have the opportunity to not only become the first person to win it twice, but also do it back to back.
