Alison Kelley was the bubble-person (7th place) for the final 6 "TV" table of the Heartland Poker Tour event in Mille Lacs. Alison won her entry to the HPT a week earlier in the Summer Poker Challenge II Finals held at Playmakers in Fargo. With 7th place she earned $11,103 but missed out on a bigger pay-day, with 1st place scheduled to take roughly $80,000...
Congrats to Alison on a great run and a nice cash, proving once again that free poker pays!!! Alison qualified for the HPT-20 seats contest playing Thursday nights at the Old Broadway in Fargo. Congrats!
Clay Lipke (from Primetime Food & Spirits in Breezy Point, MN) also cashed 20th place in the same event for $2,221. Clay's free seat came from a freeroll at the Minnesota Poker League Fall 06 Championship.
