Geoff and Donna Schutzbank (sitting) have done it again in Pennsylvania. Both have qualified for the National Championship recently during the PA State Championship. They finished one and two respectively. This is the second time they have been able to accomplish this. Back in the Poker Pro promotion they were able to finish first and second as well.
Long time league player Mark Carey from Minot, ND just by passed the ND State Championship directly into the National Championship in Las Vegas on June 29th by getting drawn in the two pair or better drawing. Mark scratched off two aces and two kings at the Lucky Strike Lounge in Minot to get qualified for the drawing. He will now play at the ND State Championship shooting for a double stack at Nationals.
Attention: The date on the TOC certificates that went out was misprinted as Sunday, May 5th. The correct date of the National TOC online tournament is Sunday, May 19th.
Rachael Dovenmuehler from Reno's Bar in Hillsboro was the lucky winner of the March perfect attendance. Rachel attended all four weeks at Reno's taking first place the last week only to miss out on the playoffs by one spot which was taken by her husband. Since she showed up that last week Rachael has won herself a new Kindle Fire. Congrats Rachael!
Michael Chevrier (pictured) from New Richmond, WI recently just scratched off four 10's in only six attempts to get qualified for the National Championship. Todd Cunningham from Aberdeen, SD was the big winner in April 1st tournament held online. Both players have just won a WSOP buy-in on June 30th and will be participating in the National Championship on June 29th for their shot at the $10,000 Main Event Seat.
