HPT Dream Package National Championship Preview
This week we will crown a new LEAGUE CHAMPION! We can't wait to see who emerges as the next "FPN Poker Pro" and be featured in the Heartland Poker Tour-Stratosphere event! The HPT Dream Package finale is Friday November 15th at 9:30am (PT). Approximately 100 players from around the league are making their way to Las Vegas to chase the "Dream Package"! In addition to the grand prize, another 30 players will earn HPT buy-ins. We are excited to see everyone soon!
Did you know? The new FPN National Champion will be the "featured player" on the broadcast of the Stratosphere event. He or she will get about a two minute segment which will air all across the country! We will also be rubbing elbows with some poker stars at an exclusive party for our FPN players in attendance at the National Championship. Maria Ho, Greg Raymer, and possibly more will be in attendance.
In the field there are two former champions Nels Peterson from Sartell, MN and Janet Casey from New Castle, DE. We have never had a two-time National Champion before, could it happen?!! There are seven double stacks in the field and for the first time ever one triple stack John Edwards from Bollingbrook, IL. Two of the last three National Champions have been women, will this streak continue?
