League player Brandon Dosch wins Heartland Poker Tour Event
Brandon Dosch can now add a title of Heartland Poker Tour Champion to his list of accomplishments after taking down the HPT's 150th televised event this past Sunday, Oct. 17th at Shooting Star Casino in Mahnomen, MN, for a cool $40,601. Brandon is a poker league regular at The Bowler in Fargo, ND, and also won a trip to Las Vegas last summer and a seat in the WSOP Event #54, in which he cashed for more than $3,000.
There was also more good news from this tournament as Minnesota Poker League player Mark Wadekamper, who plays at Flicek's Bar & Grill in Lonsdale, MN, also managed to cash--making the final table for a 5th place finish and $8,120. Sixth-place finisher Mike Hlebechuk, who manages The Windbreak-- also took home some cold hard cash winning $6,767!
