A big congratulations goes out to Michael Connor of Arlington, Texas as he just turned in a scratch card with four of a kind. Michael took all seven attempts, but was able to find the fourth queen to secure his spot at the HPT Dream Package National Championship on Friday, November 15th. Way to go Michael!
Congratulations to Jason Smith from Sachse, TX for winning the FPN online monthly tournament. Jason has now qualified for the HPT Dream Package National Championship on November 15th at the Stratosphere.
Congratulations to Brenda Morefield and Jim Crow who recently won the Texas State Championship. Both players have won their spot in the 100 WSOP National Championship on June 29th in Las Vegas and both are guaranteed a WSOP buy-in the following day. Depending on how each do at the National Championship will depend which size WSOP buy they receive. Congrats and good luck at Nationals!
FPN would like to welcome the Big Apple Sports Bar into the league. They will be kicking off on Tuesday June 25th at 7pm with two games per night with the second game being at 9. Big Apple is located at 1200 Trinity Blvd #400 in Fort Worth. Hope to see you their!!!
Tina McNabb returned to the FPN National Championship Tournament after a 4 year absence after winning the Texas State Tournament. Tina who was the first Texas State Champion back in 2008 eliminated Justin Overman after flopping top pair on a preflop raise by Justin and avoiding many outs after Justin flopped mid pair and a diamond flush draw.
