Long time league friend Mitch Schock from Bismarck, ND has done it again. Mitch is competing in Black Hawk, CO in a WSOP circuit event. He bought into a $365 tournament and took it down to win a WSOP ring and a $33,284 payday. The ring complements his WSOP bracelet he won less than a couple years ago. If you have ever met Mitch at one of our events you know what a down to earth, but high energetic guy he is, a true poker enthusiast. Way to go Mitch!

On Friday March 1st Jeff Gab (left) from Dickinson, ND logged on to FPN Online and over six hours later he logged off the winner. Jeff who is a former champion in the league took down the FPN Online first of the month tournament by defeating Mike Marek from Grand Forks, ND who is no stranger to National Championships. This is Dickinson's second FPN Online win this promotion as Scott White (right) won back on December 1st. Way to represent Dickinson!
Dakota Poker League Players from all over the state will converge at Westside Bar & Grill in Mandan this Saturday for a chance to qualify for the exclusive Free Poker Network "Golden Ticket" National Championship on December 10th. The top TEN players will win a seat into the National Championship tournament where a $10,000 poker package will be awarded. The National Champion will play in five major tournaments throughout the 2012-2013 calendar years.
Brandon Dosch from Fargo, ND won the Poker Pro promotion one year ago and won the same package as this years upcoming National Championship will win. Brandon went on to win over $20,000 in cash with his package.

The North Dakota state championship is set for Saturday, May 4th at the Bismarck Eagles. Registration will begin at 11am with cards in the air at 12pm noon.
League poker player Paul Wadnizak from Fargo, ND won the perfect attendance drawing. Paul had two opportunities to win as he had perfect attendance at both Borrowed Bucks on Tuesday nights and the Bison Turf on Wednesday nights. By just showing up to league nights and getting his name drawn Paul has by passed regionals and states and won himself entry into the National Championship in Las Vegas on December 10th.
