DPL Represents for Some BIG Cashes at the Heartland Poker Tour
Dakota Poker League player Brandon Dosch CASHED BIG during the Heartland Poker Tour's 150th televised event this past Sunday, October 17, at the Shooting Star Casino in Mahnomen, MN. Dosch is a reigning North Dakota champion from The Bowler in Fargo, ND, and managed to take down the event in first place for $40,601 in cash after starting the final table short stacked . Dosch also cashed this past July during WSOP Event 54 for more than $3,000, making this his second major tournament cash. Be on the lookout for him at the North Dakota Gold Rush 2 state championship on October 30 at Tapps Lounge in Jamestown as he looks to pick up yet another state championship title and more poker winnings at our $20,000 cash final at the Golden Nugget in Las Vegas this December.
Also taking home some cold hard cash was the bar manager of one of our Fargo league locations -- the Windbreak Saloon -- Mike Hlebechuk, who outlasted famous pro Greg “Fossil Man” Raymer and won $6,767 for a 6th place finish.
Congratulations to Brandon and Mike! Way to represent the league!
