Michael Ackermann from Port 104 in Lake City Turns Scratch Poker card into $10,000 cash
The national contest featured about 230 players from around the country that had qualified for a seat in various ways, mostly those who grinded out League Champ status or won through the difficult playoff system of regional and state tournaments. Ackermann bypassed all of that.
Approximately 50 locations in Minnesota participated in the Cash King promotion, and several Minnesota players placed in the Top 30. Port 104 hosts the league on Monday nights and have about 15-20 players on a regular basis.
