15 IL State Champions

In one of the fastest growing regions/state Illinois held their state championship this past weekend with 15 players all making it to Nationals.  Congrats to Phil Heintz (overall champion), Bonnie Shank, Mike Sabbia, Debbie Edwards, John Edwards, Lynda Hansell, Jack Strumpf, Pat Kafka, Steve Billingslea, Peter Danschisin, Joey Garibay, Rich Conboy, Laura Michalowicz, Bob Collopy, and Wendy Adamczyk-Deandrea.  We look forward to seeing you all in Vegas. 

Chicago area on a hot streak....

Congratulations to Dan Goyette from Chicago IL and Richard Niezabitowski also from Chicago for recently winning the scratch poker drawings.  Dan's card was pulled in January and Richard's card was pulled in February.  Each are now both qualified for Nationals this upcoming summer. 

Anthony Berkman Turns in 4 of a Kind

Anthony Berkman is packing his bags as he has turned in 4 of a kind on a scratch ticket.  Anthony scratched off 4 aces to qualify for Nationals later this year.  Anthony is from Medinah, IL and plays at quite a few bars in the IL region.  Congrats Anthony!

2 IL Players Qualify for Nationals

JerryVCongratulations to Jerry Vokral (pictured) and Tony Canovas from Illinois.  Jerry was drawn in the perfect attendance drawing and Tony scratched off quad 9's to qualify for the National Championship in January.  Pack your bags guys you are going to compete for $25,000 worth of prizes this winter!

Dale Hurst Wins June 1st FPN Online

Dale Hurst from Glenview Illinois was the big winner July 1st for the FPN Online tournament where the first place person wins a spot in the upcoming National Championship.  Dale can now pack his bags and get ready for Vegas later in the year to compete for his chance at the $10,000 first place prize.
