Congratulations goes out to Kenneth Barker (right) from Colyers 212 in West Frankfort, IL who was able to win his way to the Poker Pro National Championship. Kenneth was able to fend off Kyler Park (left) from Kip & Traci's Coloniol Club. Kyler is also qualified for the National Championship for his second place effort. Kenneth wins the airfare allowence and the hotel stay in Las Vegas while both will be competing on December 3rd.
All games will go on as scheduled with the exception of Monday September 5th at Oliver's Bar & Grill. There will be no game there on Monday, September 5th.
It has also been confirmed that ALL games will be played at our Southern Illinois locations.
Finally Chicagoans have establishments in their area to participate in FPN's Poker Pro promotion! Big thanks goes out to David, a league organizer from Chicago area who has brought aboard several new locations in Oak Forest and Tinley Park. Thanks again Dave, the players appreciate you for bringing the league to Chicago. The Illinois State Championship will be very interesting!
Todd Dean from Marion, IL took down the 127 person FPN Online Tournament Thursday night Sept 1st. Todd plays at Kip & Traci's Colonial Club and has qualified for the summer regional playoffs coming up. He was the overall points leader in July and has also qualified for the Tournament of Champions. For his big win Todd becomes the 10th FPN Poker Pro National Qualifier. Todd won an airfare allowance and hotel accommodations on the strip at the beginning of Decemember.

On Thursday June 3rd all the qualifiers from Illinois gathered at Maddie's Pub & Grub in Johnston City to see who the very first Illinois champion would be. After the dust settled the winner was Josh Dean. Josh will join 24 other players on July 1st from around the country to via to become the Destination Las Vegas WSOP 2010 National Champion and win a seat into this years 2010 World Series of Poker Main event. Congratulations Josh and good luck!
