Mike Roberson Plays National Championship In Las Vegas

{sidebar id=8}Mike Roberson from Attitudes bar in Fort Walton Beach took his seat at the National Championship shooting for a $10,000 seat into the World Series of Pokers main event.  The tournament was held on June 29th at the Orleans Casino in fabulous Las Vegas.  He was one of only 25 players from all around the country competing for the coveted prize.

Unfortunately Mike's very first trip to Las Vegas started out as a rocky one.  His wallet was stolen at the beginning of his trip!  He's not sure how it happened, but fortunately it was turned in with everything intact - except for the cash.  Ugh, but he had made it and was looking to turn around his fortunes in the national championship, but he ended up busting early.

Despite the set back, Mike's spirits were high and he planned on making the most out of the trip  and his first experience in Las Vegas.

Eventual winner Clay Lipke from Breezy Point in Minnesota ended up winning the main event buy-in.
