Shirley Cozack from Las Vegas was able to win Nevada's State Championship recently defeating Yvonne Washington also from Las Vegas. Yvonne is still a winner as both ladies have qualified for the Vegas or Bust National Championship on July 4th. Way to go ladies!!!
Edward Marriott (screen name mony4nothn) from Las Vegas, NV won the recent FPN Online monthly tournament. Edward was able to fend off Scott Stoker from Evansville, WI for the win. Scott won himself an iPod shuffle for his efforts.
The Nevada state final produced three Sin City Showdown national qualifiers! Damien Porter took 1st place, Lauren Moschello 2nd and Susan Davis 3rd. Congrats to all three national qualifiers who have earned a seat in the Sin City Showdown national final on Saturday, July 2nd for a shot at winning one of the 11 World Series of Poker seats that are up for grabs. Thanks to all that participated! There is still one more chance to win a seat online on June 1st.
Mike Baker was able to take down the Nevada state championship recently. Mike went heads up against Brian Washington for the victory. Both players from the Smoke Ranch Junction have qualified for the National Championship and have home state advantage.
