First Two Winners of Desert Heat Crowned
The first two of 25 Grand Prize winners from this summers Desert Heat promotion have been awarded. Congratulations to Jim Deuschel (pictured right) from Delta, Colorado as he won the state championship at Hoolie's Bar which was held on Tuesday, August 18th. Jim battled for four hours taking home the first place prize and became the first ever Free Poker Network winner from Colorado! A husband and wife couple Jeff Matthews and Dee Dee Mathews came in second and third, respectively.
The second winner to claim one of the Desert Heat packages was Josh Korbl from Thief River Falls, MN. Josh outlasted a field of 116 players and won the first of two online championships on Sunday, August 23rd.
