NE Sends 8 to Vegas

Recently at the MVP Lounge in Omaha the state championship went off without a hitch.  Good food and good times were had by all, well most anyway, as some people were unhappy they didn't qualify for the National Championship.  In the end we took the top seven players along with the second chance winner for a total of eight Nebraskans who will now participate in the Ultimate Poker Fantasy National Championship on June 7th.  Those eight are pictured back row left to right: Travis Tunick, Randy Brown, Leland Anderson, Chuck Roberts and Eric Verba.  Sitting: Charlie Woods, Christy Lange, and Ron "Doc" Jahnke.

Mike Summers wins National TOC

Mike Summers from Martell, NE just south of the Lincoln area was the big winner recently in the FPN Online National TOC tournament.  There were about 80 players total.  When Mike made it to the final table there were a couple big chip leaders in which he won a coin toss with 6-6 vs. A-Q which propelled him to the victory.  Mike has now qualified for the upcoming National Championship at the Stratosphere on November 14th.

UPF NE State Championship Days Away

In just a few short days FPN will hold its 23^rd Nebraska state championship, but for the first time it will be held in Omaha! We will be at Bob Timberlake’s bar the MVP Lounge. Poker players from all over the state will once again gather to see who the best is for this promotion. The top eight players will continue their dream of becoming the new FPN National Champion which will conclude at the Golden Nugget in Las Vegas on June 7^th.

While in Las Vegas the new FPN National Champion will win the coveted $10,000 Main Event Seat for his or her chance at millions of dollars in the most prestigious poker tournament of the year. There will also be over $15,000 in additional buy-ins and prizes to be awarded at the FPN National Championship depending on how you finish.
