Brian Young Jr first ever FPN Kentucky Champion

Brian Young Jr battled a field of 20 players to capture the first ever Kentucky Championship.  Brian qualified through JD Legends making only 16 of the possible 27 tournaments, but when he was there he made it count.

Brian took first place five times and second twice.  He pointed 8 of the 16 times he played 50% which helped make it to the championship.  Brian continued his strong play in the championship, and will represent the state of Kentucky in the Free Poker Network National Final in Las Vegas on Sunday, June 29th. Shannon Fergason was the runner up and will participate in a 25-player $1,000 online freeroll.

By winning the championship, Brian will receive $1,000 for his trip to Las Vegas and a seat in the 26 player national championship with a chance to win a $10,000 buy-in WSOP main event seat.  A big thanks to JD Legends in Nicholasville for hosting the championship and to all the players that participated.  Good luck in the next session players and good luck to Brian in Las Vegas!
