North Dakota Championship Results from Valley City
The Valley City Eagles Club was the site of the Dakota Poker League championship which featured over 120 qualifiers from all corners of the state of North Dakota. It was the first time an event was held in Valley City and the Eagles Club was a great host. The Sunday tournament featured the main event (top 15 players) and a 2nd chance tourney to qualify one additional player for a total of 16 players for the upcoming HPT Dream Package national final in Las Vegas on November 15th. Each player has earned a seat in the exclusive national final for a chance to win a $10,000 Heartland Poker Tour Dream Package (which includes cash, air/hotel, and 3 main event buy-ins in 2014). There will also be thousands of dollars in consolation prizes up for grabs. The overall winner will also be the featured player in the HPT-Stratosphere event same weekend. This will mean awesome television exposure for the player and the league!
