North Dakota State Championship
Saturday October 19, 2019 at the Valley City Eagles Club, in North Dakota, 146 players qualified for their chance to slay the king in the Main Event at Nationals!!! 20 players secured their trophy’s and a ticket into the main event at Nationals in Las Vegas January 10-12. Top 4 players received travel cash. 10 alternates also have an invite to Vegas where they can play any of the last chance tournaments, the tag team event, also if one or any of the 20 who qualified do not come to Vegas an alternate will take their place in the Main Event!
Congratulations to Doug Morin, who also earned a trophy and his seat in the main event in the second chance qualifier.
John Christensen found a 9th place finish, guaranteeing him a seat into the Main event. John was your points leader for Casselton Vets club all 3 of the Spring months, he took first place 12 of the 24 weeks! he has played 34 tournaments with the league and made 25 final tables! Lets see if he can keep his final table streak alive.
Josh Dahlstrom is no stranger to FPN playing over 600 tournaments, you van find him playing Bar 9, Bison Turf, Gastro Pub, Mills Lounge, Woodys, and the West fargo VFW. Josh has been playing with the league for over 10 years!
Paul Johnson claiming first place and a seat into the DPT Eagle eye event, where he took 3rd place and $1860 cash! He is also in the top 10 for the DPT Leader board! Cant wait to see what Vegas has in store for him!
