Minnesota Poker League players are gearing up this week for the Gold Rush 2 State Championship Event this Saturday, October 23, at the Running Aces Harness Park in Columbus, MN. With nearly 240 players expected to turn out for this state championship event, it's sure to be an exciting day of poker! The action gets underway at 12 pm sharp, with registration starting at 11 am. Starting chips will be at 10k or 20k, with 30 minute blind levels. Side games for merchandise and other goodies will be going on for most of the day, so be sure to bring your friends, family and fellow poker enthusiasts to come out and support you and play themselves! Of course, if you manage to get knocked out before the end of the day, you can also try your skills at the side game tables =] At the end of the day, the Minnesota Poker League will award 5 players a travel package to Las Vegas and a seat in our $20,000 cash final at the Golden Nugget in Las Vegas this December.
